- Since the August 1 draft that cut about 65 lakh names, the ECI has recorded 1,97,764 objections for exclusion and 29,872 claims for inclusion.
- More than 13,33,000 first-time voters have applied for registration via Form-6, with over 61,000 applications processed so far.
- Electoral officers have issued roughly 3,00,000 notices to voters flagged for “doubtful citizenship,” concentrated in districts such as Kishanganj, Purnea, Katihar, Supaul, West Champaran and Madhubani.
