Overview
- India’s Election Commission directed district officials to hold Special Intensive Revision hearings at voters’ homes for those aged 85 and above, as well as for sick and disabled electors.
- Officials were told not to serve or pursue existing notices for these categories, to call those already notified and inform them they need not attend, and to retain such notices with the ERO or AERO.
