- EB Games announced on Oct. 6 that it will open the Nintendo space at its flagship 267 Yonge Street store with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 10 a.m. on Oct. 17.
- The permanent 1,500-square-foot area is promoted as Nintendo’s first store-within-a-store in North America and will sit inside the EB Games Toronto location across from the Eaton Centre.
- Shoppers will find Switch 2 hardware and software, playable demo stations, Nintendo-themed displays and dedicated photo opportunities to try games before buying.
- The shop will sell Nintendo merchandise including a selection of My Mario products, with some items marked as exclusive to the EB Games Nintendo space in Canada.
- The partnership follows EB Games Canada’s relaunch under owner Stéphan Tétrault and is timed to showcase late‑2026 Switch 2 releases as a way to boost foot traffic and holiday sales.
