East Carolina and NC State to Renew Rivalry in Military Bowl

The long-time North Carolina rivals will face off on Dec. 28 at Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium in Annapolis, Maryland.

East Carolina (7-5) and NC State (6-6) are set to compete in the Military Bowl, scheduled for Dec. 28 at 5:45 p.m. ET, with the game airing on ESPN.
The matchup continues a rivalry dating back to 1970, with NC State leading the all-time series 19-13, including three consecutive wins over ECU.
NC State secured bowl eligibility with a victory over UNC in their regular-season finale, while ECU turned their season around under interim head coach Blake Harrell, who was recently promoted to full-time head coach.
The Military Bowl, held at the Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium, honors and supports current and former U.S. service members, a cause significant to NC State head coach Dave Doeren's family history.
