Overview

• Voters can cast no-excuse absentee ballots starting Tuesday, Sept. 16 at seven locations in Kansas City plus sites in Lee's Summit and Independence.
• All early voting locations use ballot-marking devices, and pre-printed paper ballots are available only on Sept. 30 at a voter’s designated polling place.
• Election Day for the recall is Tuesday, Sept. 30, with polling hours from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m., and a reduced number of sites due to the shortened special-election cycle.
• The Kansas City Election Board office at 4407 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. offers extended hours Sept. 16–26 (8 a.m.–6 p.m.), plus Sept. 27 (8 a.m.–12 p.m.) and Sept. 29 (8 a.m.–5 p.m.).
• On the eve of early voting, a town hall featured Frank White and supporters and opponents outlining arguments ranging from stadium politics to property tax assessments and spending priorities.
