Overview
- Early voting runs Oct. 20–31 with daily hours from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, Oct. 26 operates from noon to 7 p.m.
- Harris County will open 70 vote centers for early voting and nearly 600 locations on Election Day, Nov. 4, all operating 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Applications to vote by mail are due Friday, Oct. 24, with eligibility limited to voters 65 and older, those with disabilities, voters out of the county during the period, those expecting to give birth within three weeks of Election Day, and eligible jailed voters.
- Voters must present an accepted photo ID or complete a Reasonable Impediment Declaration with a supporting document such as a utility bill, bank statement or voter registration certificate.
