Overview

• The fire began around 5:30–5:50 a.m. in an exterior pallet area at a storage facility on Calle Francia in the La Estación industrial estate.
• Fourteen Comunidad de Madrid fire crews contained the flames and prevented spread to neighboring units, including one storing pool products.
• Flames raced through the building and broke the roof, forcing an initial exterior attack before crews shifted to interior extinguishing and hotspot control.
