  • Cumberland Council’s live roadworks map shows Durdar as the current hotspot in Carlisle due to Carlisle Southern Link Road works.
  • Key Carlisle restrictions include three-way signals at Cummersdale Roundabout to December 12, a full closure from Newbiggin Road South to Greenlands Farm to December 15, a westbound lane shut on the A595 Castle Way, and an emergency closure on Ridley Road.
  • Additional Carlisle measures include temporary lights on the B5299 Dalston Road to December 12, controls on the A595 at the A689 and on Orton Road for gas works, delays on Well Bank to December 3, no vehicle access at Low Harker to December 19, and water main works with temporary lights in Dalston.
