- Strong winds pushed the capital’s perceived temperature to about −5.9 C, and nationwide Tuesday highs were forecast at roughly 4–11 C.
- Colder pockets included −12.1 C at Hyangno Peak in Gangwon and around −8 C in Yeoncheon, Pocheon and Paju near the capital.
- Cold-wave advisories covered inland areas such as Gangwon, northern North Chungcheong and parts of North Gyeongsang, with Busan also under advisory.
