EA Sports Raises NIL Payments to $1,500 for College Football 26

The company more than doubles player compensation, introduces additional promotional opportunities, and anticipates a July 2025 release.

EA Sports confirmed that players in College Football 26 will receive $1,500 for their name, image, and likeness (NIL) rights, a significant increase from $600 in the previous game.
Over 11,000 athletes participated in College Football 25, and a similar or higher number is expected for the upcoming installment.
Players will also receive a deluxe edition of the game as part of their compensation, with additional opportunities for NIL-related promotions offering further earnings.
College Football 25 was the best-selling sports video game in U.S. history, setting high expectations for the next installment.
