It now ranks among the top 50 best-selling video games of all time in the U.S. based on dollar sales, according to Circana data.
The game's inclusion of real player names and numbers during the NIL era has contributed to its appeal, with over 14,000 FBS players opting in for a one-time payment of $600.
Despite its success, overall U.S. video game spending in November 2024 declined 7% year-over-year, partly due to a weaker release slate compared to November 2023.
