Dylan Harper Officially Declares for 2025 NBA Draft

The Rutgers freshman and projected No. 2 pick will spend the coming months preparing for the draft after a record-breaking college season.

Dylan Harper, a 6'6" point guard and son of NBA legend Ron Harper, announced his decision to enter the 2025 NBA Draft on ESPN's 'NBA Today.'
Harper is ranked as the second overall prospect in the draft, trailing only Duke's Cooper Flagg, according to ESPN's Jonathan Givony.
He averaged 19.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 4.0 assists, and 1.4 steals per game during his freshman season, breaking Rutgers' freshman scoring record.
Despite Rutgers' 15-17 record and early Big Ten tournament exit, Harper's standout performances and all-around skills have drawn comparisons to a young James Harden.
Harper plans to focus on intensive training, film study, and physical conditioning ahead of the NBA Draft Combine in May and the draft in June.
