- Eleven key payments—including Universal Credit, State Pension and Jobseeker’s Allowance—due on August 23, 24 or 25 will be issued on Friday, August 22.
- DWP and HMRC will apply the same rule in December by paying benefits due on December 25 and 26 on December 24.
- Payment amounts will remain unchanged unless a claimant’s circumstances have altered since their last instalment.
- Claimants who do not receive their expected funds on August 22 should contact the Department for Work and Pensions.
- Parents of 16 to 19-year-olds in approved education must renew their Child Benefit claim with HMRC by August 31 to avoid payment suspension.
