Dwight Howard Signs with Philippines Team Amid NBA Comeback Hopes and Ongoing Lawsuit

The former NBA All-Star continues his basketball career abroad while facing a sexual assault lawsuit and preparing to launch a sports agency.

Dwight Howard, former NBA center and eight-time All-Star, has signed with the Philippines-based Strong Group for the Dubai International Basketball Championship, which runs from January 19 to 28.
Howard is still hopeful for a comeback to the NBA, having last played for the Los Angeles Lakers in the 2021-22 season.
In 2022, Howard played for the Taoyuan Leopards in Taiwan's T1 League, where he averaged 23.2 points, 16.2 rebounds and 1.2 blocks per game.
Howard is currently facing a sexual assault and battery lawsuit, stemming from a July 2021 incident, which he has denied.
Howard is preparing to launch a sports agency, D12 Global.
