  • The district’s Monitoring Cell used IMEI tracking, call-detail record analysis and real-time data in coordination with service providers to locate devices.
  • Police said ownership was verified before contacting residents to collect their recovered phones.
  • The operation was led by ASI Jai Bhagwan with Head Constables Ombir, Rajesh, Rajbir and Bhajan Pal and Constables Anil Kumar and Narsingh Dev, with Additional DCP Saurabh Chandra also present.
  • The drive follows Shahdara Police recently reporting 625 phones recovered under Operation Vishwas-2025, underscoring continuing district-level efforts.
