Retailers removed the specified 500-ml batches from sale following the safety alert.

  • De Dessert Meesters BV announced the precautionary recall on January 9 after metallic foreign objects could not be ruled out in individual packs.
  • Affected items are EDEKA Herzstücke Chocolate Caramel (500 ml; best-before 01.10.2027 and 01.12.2027) and Netto Jack’s Ice-Cream Choco Crumble (500 ml; best-before 01.10.2027).
  • Distribution included EDEKA and Marktkauf stores nationwide and Netto locations except in Bavaria, Berlin, Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia.
  • Customers are advised not to consume the products and may return them for a full refund without presenting a receipt.
  • Edeka and Netto have published customer-service hotlines and email contacts for questions, and reports do not cite confirmed consumer injuries.
