Overview

• The 60th fair will run December 5–8, with proposals accepted at durangokoazoka.eus through October 6.
• Program submissions map to curated spaces: Ahotsenea (books/music), Irudienea (audiovisual), Kabia (tech, talks and workshops), Saguganbara (children), Szenatokia (performing arts) and Talaia (nonfiction and other).
• A new illustrations exhibition will display images from this year’s Basque releases across books, magazines, album covers and audiovisual posters.
• Schools can enroll for the opening-day Ikasle Goiza until October 6; DA! PRO and the ‘Zu Non, Han DA!’ bookstore circuit are open for sign-ups, and stand requests are available September 1–30.
• Regional highlights now on the calendar include Araitz’s heritage day on September 20, BBK’s ‘Ni(k) inoiz ez’ mirror maze in Bilbao through September 21 to promote healthy relationships, and Lekeitio’s Irailekoak poetry festival on September 26–28 exploring nationhood.
