Sequel to Feature Expanded Role for Zendaya, New Cast Additions, and Exclusive Theater Release

Dune: Part Two, the sequel to the successful adaptation of Frank Herbert's 1965 science-fiction novel, is set to release on March 1, 2024.
Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya will reprise their roles as Paul Atreides and Chani, respectively, with Zendaya's role expected to be significantly expanded in the sequel.
New additions to the cast include Florence Pugh as Princess Irulan, Austin Butler as Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen, and Christopher Walken as Shaddam IV, the emperor of House Corrino.
The sequel, described as an 'action-packed, epic war movie', will pick up where the first film left off, focusing on Paul’s rise to power and his rebellion against the Padishah Emperor Shaddam IV.
The film was shot entirely in Imax and will have an exclusive theater release, with the date of arrival on streaming platforms yet to be confirmed.
