New characters are introduced, including Emperor Shaddam IV (Christopher Walken), Princess Irulan (Florence Pugh), and Feyd-Rautha Harkonnen (Austin Butler), who is portrayed as a particularly villainous character.
The film is set to explore Paul Atreides' journey as he unites with Chani and the Fremen in a path of revenge against those who destroyed his family.
