‘Dune: Part Two’ Leads 2025 VES Awards Nominations With Seven Nods

The Visual Effects Society honors top achievements in visual effects across film, television, animation, and new media, with winners to be announced February 11.

‘Dune: Part Two’ dominates the 2025 VES Awards with seven nominations, including Outstanding Visual Effects in a Photoreal Feature.
‘The Wild Robot’ leads animated contenders with five nominations, while ‘Shōgun’ and ‘The Penguin’ lead episodic categories with four each.
Other top nominees include ‘Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes’ with six nominations and ‘Better Man’ with four.
Special honorees include Hiroyuki Sanada, Takashi Yamazaki, and Dr. Jacquelyn Ford Morie, recognized for their contributions to visual effects and storytelling.
The 23rd annual VES Awards ceremony will take place on February 11, 2025, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
