Overview

  • Since its June 10 PC launch, Dune: Awakening has sold over one million copies, marking Funcom’s fastest-selling title.
  • Funcom will introduce ‘Partial Warfare (PvE)’ areas in the Deep Desert to allow conflict-averse players to harvest Tier 6 resources without high-risk PvP encounters.
  • Major PvP landmarks—including Landsraad control points, shipwrecks and the largest spice fields—will remain flagged for ‘War of Assassins’ high-reward combat.
  • Players have collectively recorded more than 816,720 sandworm deaths and consumed over six billion grams of spice in the game.
  • Funcom plans ongoing updates, from PvP vehicle balance tweaks to a console release for PS5 and Xbox Series S/X in 2026.
