Overview
- The current Bad Creek operating license expires in July 2027, and Duke says it expects FERC to rule in 2027 ahead of that date.
- A 2020–2024 refurbishment added 320 MW by upgrading each of the four pump-turbines, bringing total capacity to 1,680 MW.
