Ducks sign defenseman Jamie Drysdale to 3-year, $6.9 million contract extension

Anaheim Ducks signed 21-year-old defenseman Jamie Drysdale to a 3-year, $6.9 million contract extension.
Drysdale was the 6th overall pick in the 2020 NHL Draft and had his best season in 2021-22.
He recorded 32 points and 72 blocked shots in 81 games played last season.
Drysdale suffered a season-ending labrum tear in his shoulder in October 2021.
Ducks GM Pat Verbeek praised Drysdale's talent and looks forward to his continued growth with the team.
