Overview

• On Monday at the Osaka Expo, the Duchess met Princess Takamado at the Women’s Pavilion and spoke on a UN Women panel focused on gender equality.
• She toured interactive displays, greeted members of the public, and later joined the Duke to meet volunteers at the UK Pavilion.
• The couple visited the Japan Pavilion’s reflecting pool and met Commissioner General Mr Haneda and Pavilion Director Noriyuki Kuroda.
• On Sunday in Koyasan, they observed temple protocol at Danjo Garan by removing their shoes and helped turn the Rokkaku Kyouzou sutra repository.
• Earlier in Tokyo, the Duchess visited the Ukraine Mental Health Exchange Centre, which supports more than 1,500 registered Ukrainian evacuees.
