Ducati Panigale V4 R Launches in India at Rs 84.99 Lakh

The numbered homologation special targets collectors with MotoGP-derived hardware for track-focused use.

Overview

  • Bookings are open nationwide after Ducati Chennai delivered the first and only 2025-allocation unit on January 1, with availability expected to remain extremely limited.
  • The 998 cc Desmosedici Stradale R engine makes 218 hp in standard form, rising to about 235 hp with the optional racing exhaust and up to 239 hp with Ducati Corse Performance Oil.
  • MotoGP-inspired corner sidepods aim to boost grip at high lean angles, while larger biplane wings deliver roughly 25% more downforce than the previous model.
  • The chassis features Ducati’s Front Frame and a hollow symmetrical swingarm paired with fully adjustable Öhlins suspension, Brembo monobloc calipers, forged wheels and Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa V4 tyres.
  • A race-style gearbox places neutral below first gear, and the DVO-managed electronics suite includes cornering ABS with combined braking, Race Brake Control, traction and slide controls, wheelie control, launch control and a 6.9-inch TFT with a grip meter.
