Overview
- Joby Aviation and Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority conducted a piloted eVTOL flight between Al Maktoum International Airport and Margham ahead of the Dubai Airshow.
- RTA confirmed the airport-area vertiport near Dubai International is 60% built, with Skyports’ four-level, 3,100-square-metre facility designed for charging, passenger areas and dual pads.
- The DXB vertiport is projected to handle about 42,000 landings and roughly 170,000 passengers annually once operational.
