DU Publishes Third-Round Seat Allotments, Sets Stage for Mid-Entry Phase

Fee payments must be completed by August 7 to secure seats; vacant seats will be listed August 8 ahead of the mid-entry window.

Overview

  • DU released its third-round CSAS upgraded seat allocation on August 5 after closing the preference reorder window on August 3.
  • Colleges will verify and approve Round 3 applications until 4:59 pm on August 6, and students must pay their fees by 4:59 pm on August 7 to confirm allotments.
  • The university will display remaining vacant seats at 5 pm on August 8 and open the mid-entry application portal until 4:59 pm on August 10 for fresh or previously unallocated candidates.
  • Performance-based programme and ward quota allotments are scheduled for August 13 at 5 pm, followed by CW, ECA and sports quota allocations on August 15 at 5 pm.
  • Candidates must accept their final seats by August 17 and complete any outstanding fee payments by August 19 to finalize admissions across 79 UG programmes in 69 colleges.
