DTU Unveils Narela Research Park and Launches Global, Digital and Environmental Initiatives

Overview

  • DTU inaugurated its Research Park at the Narela campus and opened a state-of-the-art laboratory for industry-linked research and development.
  • The university signed MoUs with the University of Houston, South Asian University and the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways to advance student exchanges, regional academic cooperation and road tunnel safety research.
  • Three new B.Tech programmes in semiconductors, artificial intelligence and data analytics launched alongside an Interdisciplinary Department of Geospatial Science and Technology.
  • DTU’s online education system now offers certificate courses from one week to several months and is rolling out computer-literacy programs in five rural villages.
  • The Environmental Sciences department is contributing to Yamuna rejuvenation and ITO flood mitigation and has proposed pollution-control projects to the lieutenant governor.
