DTC to Launch Delhi–Baraut AC Bus Service During Sewa Pakhwada
Six daily services with a Rs 32–125 fare cap target commuters and students across the 60 km corridor.
Overview
- Delhi Transport Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh announced the interstate link between Maharana Pratap ISBT (Kashmiri Gate) and Baraut, with the rollout scheduled during Sewa Pakhwada ending October 2.
- The service is slated to be inaugurated by Chief Minister Rekha Gupta during the observance, according to the minister.
- Six departures will run each way daily: from Delhi at 4:50 am, 5:20 am, 5:50 am and 5:00 pm, 5:30 pm, 6:00 pm; from Baraut at 7:00 am, 7:30 am, 8:00 am and 7:30 pm, 8:00 pm, 8:30 pm.
- The route covers Khajuri Khas, Bhajan Pura, Loni Bus Station/UP Border, Loni, Mandolla, Khekra, Katha, Baghpat, Goripur, Saroorpur and Tyodhi before Baraut.
- Officials set the minimum fare at Rs 32 with a Rs 125 cap for the full stretch and said more interstate AC routes will follow to strengthen regional connectivity and support livelihoods.
