DTC, DSIIDC Sign MoU for Rs 207-Crore, 12-Storey Headquarters at IP Depot

Officials set a two-and-a-half-year target under a DSIIDC-led, lease-backed redevelopment.

Overview

  • The agreement covers a Rs 207 crore redevelopment of 26,015.78 sq m at the IP Depot to replace the structurally outdated DTC office with a 12-storey headquarters.
  • The site plan retains 12,234.54 sq m for depot operations, earmarks 6,158 sq m for the new building and designates 9,681.71 sq m of landscaped green area, about 20% of the plot.
  • DSIIDC will execute the project under a 30-year lease arrangement that grants it 50% of the commercial usage rights.
  • The government has set a two-and-a-half-year completion target, with designs providing separate access for office and commercial areas.
  • Planned features include parking for around 200 buses and 200-plus cars plus rooftop solar panels, STP, ETP, rainwater harvesting and an RO plant.
