DSV Acquires DB Schenker for $15.9 Billion, Creating World's Largest Freight Forwarder

The landmark deal will merge two logistics giants, boosting DSV's workforce to 147,000 and expanding its global market share.

DSV's acquisition of DB Schenker from Deutsche Bahn is valued at 14.3 billion euros ($15.9 billion) in an all-cash deal.
The combined entity will generate $43.6 billion in revenue, surpassing competitors Kuehne + Nagel and DHL Global Forwarding.
DSV plans to invest 1 billion euros in Germany over the next five years, with no job cuts in the country for two years post-deal.
