Drunk Driver's SUV Rampage in Jaipur Kills Three, Injures Six

Usman Khan, a factory owner and former Congress district vice president, drove his SUV while intoxicated, killing three and injuring six in Jaipur's Nahargarh area on Monday night.
The rampage began near the Santoshi Mata Temple and continued for 7 kilometres, with the SUV hitting pedestrians, vehicles, and objects before being stopped by locals and police.
CCTV footage and eyewitness accounts confirmed the high-speed recklessness, and Khan was arrested shortly after the incident; an FIR has been registered against him.
Political leaders, including BJP MLA Balmukund Acharya and former Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot, have demanded strict legal action and accountability for the tragedy.
The incident has reignited public and political demands for tougher road safety enforcement and scrutiny of elite impunity in India.
