Overview

  • Russia launched over 300 attack drones and eight missiles overnight, striking 27 locations across Kyiv’s residential areas and critical infrastructure
  • At least six people, including a six-year-old boy, were killed and more than 50 injured as missiles and kamikaze drones hit apartment blocks, schools and hospitals
  • Ukrainian air defenses downed 288 drones and three cruise missiles, but debris ignited fires and a residential building partially collapsed in the Sviatoshynskyi and Solomianskyi districts
  • On the front line, Ukrainian forces reported 193 combat engagements and repelled 49 assaults in the Pokrovsk sector over the past 24 hours
  • Russia’s Defense Ministry claimed capture of Chasiv Yar in Donetsk region, a strategic town whose fall could open advances toward Kramatorsk and Sloviansk
