Drone Spots Chicago Freight Train Burglary, Three Men Charged

Two defendants remain jailed on alleged violations of earlier pretrial release.

  • Deputies arrested Shaun Smythe, 25, and Marcus Moore, 26, near the 300 block of West 60th Place and later took Errol Miller, 44, into custody after stopping a Chrysler minivan near the 100 block of West 87th Street.
  • All three were charged with burglary, and Miller faces an additional count of aggravated fleeing and eluding after the vehicle pursuit.
  • Smythe was released after a Dec. 20 court appearance, while Moore and Miller remain at Cook County Jail for alleged pretrial-release violations from prior cases, with the next court date listed as Jan. 8.
