Driver Survives 20-Foot Fall from Mall Parking Garage in Illinois

A car crashed through a guardrail at Harlem Irving Plaza Mall, landing upside down on the street below.

Emergency responders were dispatched to the scene shortly after 12:30 p.m. on Monday.
The driver, whose identity has not been disclosed, was trapped inside the overturned vehicle.
First responders extricated the driver and transported them to Lutheran General Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The car fell approximately 20 feet from the parking garage, according to local authorities.
The cause of the incident remains under investigation by the Norridge Police Department.
