• Leander ISD said the driver, identified as Tim Gall, is no longer employed following the Aug. 13 rollover that carried 46 Bagdad Elementary students.
• DPS issued tickets for failing to drive in a single lane and improper seatbelt use, and video showed the bus crossed the double yellow line multiple times on a wet roadway.
• Troopers documented all four rear tires below 6/32-inch tread depth, while the district said its maintenance practices met acceptable safety standards.
• The district will require drivers to verify that students are buckled before departure and will add the expectation to transportation and district handbooks.
• Seventeen people, including 16 children and the driver, were taken to hospitals and have since been released, and the NTSB safety investigation remains open.
