Driver Indicted in Fatal Crash That Killed NFL Rookie Khyree Jackson and Two Others

Cori Clingman faces 13 charges, including vehicular manslaughter and DUI, for the July 2024 crash in Maryland.

Cori Clingman, 24, was arrested and charged with 13 counts, including grossly negligent and criminally negligent vehicular manslaughter, as well as driving under the influence.
The crash occurred on July 6, 2024, when Clingman’s Infiniti Q50 struck a Dodge Charger carrying Khyree Jackson and two others, causing the vehicle to veer off the road and hit multiple trees.
Jackson, 24, and Isaiah Hazel, 23, were pronounced dead at the scene, while Anthony Lytton Jr., 24, died later at a hospital.
Investigators determined Clingman’s blood alcohol content was above the legal limit of 0.08% in Maryland, and one or more vehicles were traveling at high speeds before the crash.
Jackson, a Minnesota Vikings rookie and fourth-round draft pick in 2024, was honored by the team with helmet decals and financial support for his funeral expenses.
