Driver in Noida Lamborghini Crash Released on Bail as Police Probe Mechanical Fault Claim

Deepak Kumar, arrested after injuring two laborers during a test drive of a Lamborghini Huracán, alleges a technical malfunction caused the accident.

The accident occurred on March 30, 2025, in Noida’s Sector 94, when a Lamborghini Huracán struck two laborers sitting on a footpath, causing leg fractures.
Deepak Kumar, a car dealer from Ajmer, was driving the car during a test drive and was arrested at the scene; he has since been granted bail by the District Court in Surajpur.
The Lamborghini, owned by YouTuber Mridul Tiwari, was reportedly being sold, and Kumar was evaluating its performance at the time of the crash.
Police are investigating Kumar’s claim that a mechanical fault in the car led to the accident, and a technician has been called to inspect the vehicle.
The injured laborers, identified as Ravidas and Rambhu Kumar from Chhattisgarh, are stable and recovering in a hospital, while public criticism grows over the driver’s casual response captured in a viral video.
