Driver Identified After Jeep Kills 25 Seagulls on Washington Beach

Authorities are working to contact the out-of-state driver who allegedly ran over the protected birds and nearly hit two people walking their dogs.

The incident occurred around 8 p.m. south of Klipsan Beach, Washington.
Witnesses reported the Jeep driving at high speed and snapping photos of the driver and vehicle.
Efforts to save the injured seagulls were unsuccessful; all 25 birds died.
The Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife Police are seeking additional witnesses.
Seagulls are protected under state law, making it illegal to harm them.
