Overview

• Dispatch received a report around 2:45 a.m. Sunday of a vehicle on fire along the tree line about a mile south of Exit 24.
• Troopers arrived to find the vehicle fully engulfed in flames and discovered the lone occupant deceased at the scene.
• Investigators say the southbound vehicle left the right side of the roadway for reasons that remain under review.
• Officials have not released the victim's name as the inquiry continues.
