Driver Charged After Fatal Fourth of July Crash in NYC Park

Three dead, eight injured as substance abuse counselor allegedly drove drunk into Lower East Side crowd

Daniel Hyden, 44, faces multiple charges including vehicular homicide and manslaughter.
Hyden was held without bail after being arraigned in Manhattan Criminal Court.
Victims include Lucille Pinkney, 59, her son Hernan Pinkney, 38, and Ana Morel, 43.
Hyden, who refused a breathalyzer test, had a suspended license and prior DUI arrests.
He was ejected from a party boat earlier for being drunk and disorderly.
