• When officers attempted a stop, the driver fled onto Meadowbrook Road, lost control near Honeysuckle Lane, and crashed into a tree in a residential yard.
• Capitol Police said officers helped get the occupants out of the vehicle after the crash.
• Three people were transported to a hospital with injuries described as non-life-threatening.
• A search of the truck and suspects uncovered various narcotics and drug paraphernalia, and the driver was charged with possession of a controlled substance and felony fleeing; the driver's name has not been released.
