Overview

• Police say the crash happened around 2:54 a.m. near O'Hare Street and MacArthur in Center Line, Michigan.
• The vehicle entered the house and exited out the back, and the child was thrown into the backyard and found on top of a bedroom window.
• Center Line police reported the girl suffered spine, pelvis and rib injuries and is in stable condition, while her family says she also has a liver laceration and a fractured nose.
• Officers arrested a 20-year-old who fled on foot and was taken into custody near 10 Mile Road before being booked into the Macomb County Jail.
• Investigators are evaluating possible intoxication and have not released the driver’s identity as the case remains open.
