• Six people were arrested and ₹1.02 crore in suspected drug proceeds was recovered during the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence operation.

• In a coordinated move the same day, 24.186 kg was recovered at Bhopal Junction from two travelers who had boarded the Rajdhani in Bengaluru on August 19.
• An additional 17.958 kg was found after a Thailand arrival was intercepted at a Bengaluru hotel in the early hours of August 21.
• The agency says the network recruited vulnerable youth via social media, and media reports say some couriers were sent on paid Thailand trips to carry the contraband.
