Overview

• At around 11:30 am on Sunday, August 10, two drifting sea mines detonated in prohibited swimming areas off Zatoka and Karolino-Buhaz.
• One man died near Karolino-Buhaz and a man and a woman were killed off Zatoka, according to regional police.
• Investigators, bomb disposal experts and rescue teams are collecting evidence and clearing the shoreline for additional devices.
