Dresden Implements Revised Public Transit Schedule to Reduce Costs

A new 'Ferienfahrplan' will reduce transit frequency during school holidays, eliminating student transportation and adjusting schedules for certain lines.
Key services, such as the 10-minute tram intervals, will remain intact thanks to additional municipal funding of €4.2 million for 2025 and €5.6 million for 2026.
Earlier proposals for severe cuts, including discontinuing ferries and Mobi-Bikes, were rejected in favor of a more balanced approach to savings.
