• DreamWorks Animation has officially approved a Donkey-centric spin-off starring Eddie Murphy, marking the first major Shrek franchise expansion since Puss in Boots: The Last Wish.
• Recording for the feature will commence in September 2025 as Murphy continues Shrek 5 voice sessions.
