• In a 30 August ceremony at DMRL in Hyderabad, DRDO Chairman Samir V. Kamat handed over Licensing Agreements for Transfer of Technology to industry partners.
• High‑strength radome manufacturing was licensed to BHEL, Jagdishpur, to enable production of protective covers for missile sensors.
• DMR‑1700 steel sheets and plates were licensed to JSPL, Angul, for ultra‑high strength, high‑toughness armour and load‑bearing applications.
• DMR 249A HSLA steel plates were licensed to SAIL’s Bhilai Steel Plant for naval shipbuilding requirements.
• DMRL also signed an MoU with the Aircraft Accident Investigation Bureau to support probe activities, as DRDO said the transfers aim to speed deployment and strengthen the defence supply chain without specifying production timelines.
