Dr. Dre Receiving Inaugural ASCAP Hip-Hop Icon Award

Dr. Dre will be honored with the first-ever ASCAP Hip-Hop Icon Award at the Rhythm & Soul Music Awards Celebration of 50 Years of Hip-Hop.
The award recognizes ASCAP members who have made an indelible impact on hip-hop culture and art.
Dr. Dre is a seven-time Grammy winner and producer of hit songs for artists like Jay-Z, Eminem, and Snoop Dogg.
He started out with Ice Cube and Eazy-E in the pioneering hip-hop group N.W.A.
DJs Kid Capri and Drama will provide the music for the event celebrating the 50-year history of hip-hop.
