Overview
- Production-Linked Incentive schemes logged over Rs 1.88 lakh crore in actual investment through June 2025, delivering more than Rs 17 lakh crore in incremental production and over 12.3 lakh jobs.
- Exports attributed to the PLI programmes have crossed Rs 7.5 lakh crore with strong contributions from electronics, pharmaceuticals, telecom and networking products, and food processing.
- DPIIT has recognised 2,01,335 startups since 2016, which it says have created over 21 lakh jobs, with more than 48% of recognised startups having at least one woman director.
